How do I pause Piso WiFi at 10.0.0.1?
Connect to the Piso WiFi network, open http://10.0.0.1 if that is its gateway, and select Pause on your active session. Wait for the paused confirmation. Return on the same device and choose Resume to continue.
No Pause button? Check the missing-button checks. This guide cannot pause a session for you.
What is Piso WiFi pause time?
Piso WiFi is a pay-per-use internet service commonly found in shops and neighbourhoods across the Philippines. You pay for a set amount of connection time through a machine or the operator’s supported payment method.
Where the operator enables it, pause time holds your remaining minutes while you take a break. Resume from the same device when you are ready to browse again.
The address 10.0.0.1 is a local gateway. It only opens when your device can reach a network using that address.
How to pause and resume your session
Button names can vary, but the usual process is simple.
Connect to the Piso WiFi network
Open your WiFi settings and select the network provided by the shop or machine operator. If the portal does not appear, try the next step.
Open your local portal
Type http://10.0.0.1 into your browser’s address bar. If your network uses another gateway, use that address instead.
Start your paid session
Follow the portal’s instructions to insert coins, redeem a voucher, or use an available payment option. Check that your remaining time appears.
Tap Pause time
Look for Pause, Pause time, or a similar control beside your timer. Confirm the action if prompted and check that the portal shows a paused state.
Return and resume
Reconnect using the same device, open the portal, and choose Resume or Continue. Your remaining time starts counting down again.
Your operator may limit the number of pauses, how long a pause lasts, or when unused credit expires.
Using Chrome, Safari, or your phone’s browser
Enter the full gateway address directly rather than searching for it. If mobile data or a VPN prevents the local portal from opening, temporarily disconnect it and retry on the Piso WiFi network. Use the same device for your session.
Remaining time, pause limits and voucher expiry
Three different rules can affect the same session. Knowing which one you are looking at makes it easier to explain a lost-credit problem to the operator.
- Remaining time
- The browsing time still available on your paid session.
- Pause limit
- A restriction on how often or how long you can pause. The operator’s settings decide what happens when the limit is reached.
- Voucher or session expiry
- A deadline after which credit may no longer be usable. A paused timer does not necessarily extend this deadline.
If you pause with 45 minutes left, those minutes may be held while pause is valid. If the credit expires before you return, the displayed balance alone does not guarantee you can use it. This is an example, not a default rule for every machine.
For example, AdoPiSoft’s session settings documentation describes configurable pause counts and session expiry based on time or data credits.
Enable pause time for your customers
Sign in to your machine’s admin portal using your own credentials. Find the session or portal settings, then check whether your firmware supports a pause feature.
- Enable pause for the access methods you offer.
- Set a pause duration and pause count appropriate for your service.
- Review voucher validity and session expiry settings.
- Save your changes and test using a customer device.
Check your payment controls and rates
Coin insertion, vouchers, and pricing may have separate settings. Make sure the options shown to customers match the payment methods your machine can accept.
Keep your router access secure
For customers
Use the gateway supplied by your operator. Avoid entering private account details into an unfamiliar WiFi portal.
For owners
Replace factory admin credentials, keep firmware updated, and log out after changing settings.
What pause time does—and its limits
Pause holds existing credit where supported; it does not add free time or guarantee indefinite storage. Disconnecting from WiFi alone may leave your countdown running. A pause may also end when a limit is reached or the machine restarts.
LPB, AdoPiSoft, PisoFi & JuanFi
Always follow the settings on your actual portal. Features and labels depend on the installed firmware and operator configuration.
| Platform | Where to look | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| LPB Piso WiFi | Session timer and portal controls | Pause availability and time limit |
| AdoPiSoft | Customer session screen | Pause count and expiry rules |
| PisoFi | Session controls | Operator’s pause configuration |
| JuanFi | Custom hotspot portal | Support in the installed setup |
Find the correct portal address
10.0.0.1 is common, but it is not universal. Addresses such as 192.168.1.1 or 10.10.0.1 may be used on other networks. Check your connected network’s gateway instead of guessing.
Android & iPhone
Open WiFi settings and view the connected network’s details. Look for Gateway on Android or Router on iPhone.
Windows & Mac
On Windows, use ipconfig and read Default Gateway. On Mac, open network details and check the Router field under TCP/IP.
10.0.0.0.1 is not a valid IPv4 address. Enter 10.0.0.1 if that is your network’s gateway.
Common problems, practical fixes
The portal will not open
Confirm you are on the correct WiFi network. Check its gateway address, enter the full http:// address, and temporarily disconnect a VPN if it blocks local access.
There is no Pause button
Your operator may have disabled the feature, or your session may not meet its rules. Ask the operator whether pause is supported.
My time expired while paused
A pause limit or voucher expiry may have been reached. Check the portal’s rules and ask the operator to review the session.
I cannot resume on another device
Sessions are often tied to a device identity. Return to the device you originally used and reconnect to the same network.
The portal no longer recognises my phone
Reconnect to the same network using the original device. A changed private WiFi address or cleared browser cookies can affect systems that use those identifiers. Ask the operator to check the session before resetting your network settings or purchasing again.
MikroTik’s HotSpot documentation explains MAC cookies and session timeouts for RouterOS-based networks; other platforms may use different methods.
The machine restarted
Session recovery depends on the system. Contact the operator if your credit or paused session is missing after a restart.

- Public WiFi needs extra care with sensitive data.
Piso WiFi pause time FAQs
Can this website pause my WiFi?
No. This is an independent guide. Only your connected network’s portal can manage your paid session.
How do I pause my Piso WiFi time?
Connect to your network, open its gateway, and choose Pause on your active session if the operator has enabled it.
Does turning off WiFi stop the timer?
Not necessarily. Use the portal’s pause control and confirm that your session is paused before disconnecting.
How long can I leave my time paused?
The machine operator sets this limit. Read the session rules on your portal or ask the shop owner.
Can I resume on another phone?
Many systems tie credit to the original device. Use that same device unless your operator explicitly supports a transfer.
Is 10.0.0.1 the same as 10.0.0.0.1?
No. 10.0.0.0.1 has too many parts to be a valid IPv4 address. Use the gateway listed in your WiFi settings.
What if I cannot find the admin password?
Ask the machine owner or consult the documentation for the installed system. This guide does not provide access to someone else’s network.
Does pause time give me free internet?
No. Pausing does not create credit. It can hold existing paid time only under the operator’s rules.
Can I pause when the button is disabled?
There is no universal workaround. Ask the operator whether pause is available for your session and whether any minimum balance or pause-count limit applies.
Do I need to install an app?
A browser is enough for many portals. Install an app only if your operator or platform officially requires it.
Sources and scope of this guide
This independent guide explains common portal workflows. It is not affiliated with LPB, AdoPiSoft, PisoFi or JuanFi. Your installed software and operator settings take priority over general instructions.
- AdoPiSoft: session settings — pause counts and credit expiry.
- MikroTik: HotSpot captive portal — authentication, device identifiers and timeouts on RouterOS networks.
We avoid universal default passwords, fixed pause allowances, and promises of recovery after a reboot because these depend on the actual installation.
